Precious Metals new Diamond Trade Up is a revolutionary new concept in the jewellery world - the process is completely transparent and uniquely generous!!!

Here's how it works…..

Bring any diamond* over 0.25ct, to either of our stores and we will credit you 50% of it's total insurance worth towards your trade up. Any diamond means we will trade your old diamond, good, bad or ugly, for a new bigger or better quality diamond. All we ask is that you make an equal contribution from your own (or someone else's?) pocket.

For example, if your diamond has an insurance value of $5,000, we will give you a minimum of $2,500 ($5000 x 50%) as a Trade Up value. With your contribution, a minimum of $2,500 (the more you add, the bigger diamond!!!), you can select your own new ideal cut diamond. It's that easy!!!

This Trade Up allows you to cash in the equity in your current diamond, and leap frog over price constraints, to secure a fine quality Ideal Cut diamond. Selling second hand or auctioning is inconvenient, can be a security risk, takes lots of time and would usually results in a lower $$$ return!

Your diamond will be offered for sale at the same price you traded it for. We chose 50% of the insurance value because we believe this represents fair value for both buyer and seller. You can confirm the 'transparency' of the offer since your old diamond will be listed for sale at exactly the same price that is was traded for on www.preciousmetals.com.au. We hope whoever buys your diamond will also 'trade-up' one-day! You too can trade up again and again, but we will give you a better trade up value on any one of our diamonds!

Some of the first clients to take advantage of a 'Trade Up' have actually traded down in weight, but their whiter and brighter ideal cut diamonds actually look bigger!!!!
