We have provided you with 2 copies of your valuation(s). We suggest you file the coloured original and forward the copy to your insurance company. We have also kept a digital copy.

Most insurance companies require updates every two years.

We will reduce the cost of all updates by 10% if you bring your previous valuation together with your jewellery.

Most jewellery prices are tied to the US Dollar which fluctuates relative to the Australian Dollar. An up-to-date valuation protects you by ensuring you have sufficient cover or inflated values that can result in you paying excessive premiums.

A diamond grading certificate is not a valuation. A valuation has a dollar value assigned, and must be signed and sealed by a Registered Valuer. If you have a diamond grading certificate then be sure to bring it with you so the reference number is listed on your valuation.

Insurance companies cannot insist that you to replace your jewellery at a particular shop. You have every right to nominate any Australian store or jeweller of your choice to replace lost or stolen pieces.
